**Lab Software Engineer** @ Xaira Therapeutics **About the Role** Join an interdisciplinary data and bioinformatics engineering team at the intersection of AI, scientific workflows, and therapeutic discovery. Collaborate with AI scientists, lab scientists, and drug discovery experts to design, build, and deploy software systems that accelerate novel therapeutic identification and development. **What You'll Do** • Design and develop software to interact with lab instruments for data capture in high and low throughput experiments • Build scalable pipelines for automated instrument data processing • Collaborate with computational and experimental teams to define data models/schemas • Develop APIs and tools to aggregate data for analysis and visualization • Configure and manage LIMS/ELN systems **Requirements (varies by level)** *Senior (5+ years):* Industry experience building scientific data solutions, proven track record with lab scientists, requirements gathering and system design expertise, technical project leadership *Early Career:* Strong academic/early industry experience in scientific data analysis, database design, or data integration; hands-on data modeling; quick learning ability **Preferred Skills** • Degree in CS, Chemistry, Biology, Computational Biology, or related field • Python and/or C# proficiency • Laboratory workflows and data understanding • ELN/LIMS experience (Benchling preferred) • Lab instrument software interface development • Scientific data model/schema development • SQL database knowledge • Cloud computing experience (AWS preferred) • Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills **Compensation** Competitive package: Base salary $152,000–$205,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.
