**Staff Software Engineer, Internal Tools & Automation** **About Crusoe:** Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company solving the energy bottleneck in AI compute. We own and operate each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to power ambitious AI workloads. **The Role:** Embed with internal Crusoe teams (SRE, Finance, Sales, People Ops, product groups) to build software that accelerates their work. You'll own end-to-end delivery: scoping problems, building interactive tools, automating workflows, and measuring impact. Success is measured by adoption and time returned to your stakeholder team. **What You'll Work On:** • Embed with stakeholder teams and identify high-leverage automation opportunities • Build interactive applications that read data, apply decisions, and write results back • Replace repetitive workflows with pipelines and AI agents • Own problems end-to-end from scope through iteration • Contribute reusable skills, integrations, and patterns to a shared platform • Maintain correctness, governance, and reliability for operational use **What You'll Bring:** • 8+ years building and owning production software • Staff-level scope: take ambiguous charters and ship with limited direction • Full-stack skills: user interfaces, backend services, data layers • Strong SQL and data modeling expertise • Product mindset and stakeholder collaboration skills • Fast delivery balanced with attention to correctness • Comfort with AI-assisted development and LLM agents • Strong ownership mentality **Bonus:** Forward-deployed/embedded engineering experience • BI/analytics tools (Sigma, Looker, dbt, Tableau) • Automation platforms (Workato, n8n) • MCP, agent frameworks, or LLM tool use • Early-stage startup comfort **Compensation & Benefits:** $215,000–$260,000 + Bonus + RSUs • Health/dental/vision • 401(k) match • Parental leave • Professional development • Mental health support • Commuter benefits • And more **Equal Opportunity Employer**
