**Full Stack Software Engineer, Product Explorations** **About the Team** The Product Explorations team is a small, high-ownership group focused on turning new model capabilities into impactful user experiences. Working across Applied and Research, the team partners with product, engineering, design, and research to identify opportunities, prototype quickly, validate ideas, and scale promising efforts. **About the Role** We're seeking product-minded full stack engineers to drive high-impact product explorations with high autonomy. You'll move quickly from idea to prototype, work across teams to validate and launch new experiences, and operate in ambiguous environments with strong product intuition. **Key Responsibilities** • Identify and pursue high-leverage product and technical opportunities • Move quickly from idea to prototype, validation, launch, and iteration • Build full stack product experiences that unlock value from new model capabilities • Collaborate with Research, Applied, product, design, data science, and engineering partners • Use user feedback and experimentation to determine which ideas should scale • Drive alignment across teams and foster a culture of speed and ownership **Ideal Candidate** • Experience building and shipping full stack products from prototype to production • Thrives in early-stage, iterative environments with limited structure • Strong product intuition and ability to identify user and business priorities • Clear communicator and effective collaborator across disciplines • High autonomy, agency, and ownership in ambiguous environments • Passionate about the intersection of model capabilities, product development, and user impact **Location** San Francisco HQ (relocation assistance available) **About OpenAI** OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring general-purpose AI benefits all of humanity.
