## Data Science Specialist ### Responsibilities - Support advanced analytics and data modeling across medium to large datasets - Clean and preprocess datasets to ensure accuracy, usability, and reliability - Visualize and analyze data using appropriate tools and statistical/analytical methods - Develop and optimize Neo4j graph database solutions, including: - Writing efficient Cypher queries - Modeling relationships and graph structures to support analytics/use cases - Develop software components in at least one programming language (e.g., Python or Java) - Work within cloud infrastructure in a high-security, classified environment, following security and compliance requirements - Use software virtualization tools such as Docker to support reproducible development and deployments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics outcomes and operational improvements - Maintain documentation for datasets, queries, visualizations, and developed solutions - (Desired) Contribute within Agile development frameworks and iterative planning cycles ### Qualifications - Active TS/SCI clearance with relevant Polygraph - Experience requirements: - 8+ years with BS/BA - 6+ years with MS/MA - 3+ years with PhD - Additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree - Demonstrated experience cleaning and visualizing medium to large datasets - Knowledge and experience with Neo4j graph database technologies and Cypher query language - Experience developing at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) - Understanding of cloud infrastructure in a high-security (classified) environment - Experience with modern software virtualization tools (e.g., Docker) - (Desired) Agile development frameworks - (Desired) Experience visualizing data in Tableau ### Company Peraton is a next-generation national security company and transformative enterprise IT provider delivering trusted solutions across domains including land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace. ### Target Salary Range **$135,000 - $216,000** (typical range; final compensation depends on factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, location, and contract considerations).
