## Overview AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a **Windows Systems Administrator** to join a team supporting a **DoD Agency** in **Mechanicsburg, PA**. You will be responsible for **managing, administering, sustaining, and securing** Windows infrastructure used for **development, testing, and production**, including certifying success of future production enhancements. ## Responsibilities - Provide **production and development direct support** for **Cloud and on-premise Windows** environments - **Review, evaluate, and fine-tune** system performance for mission systems/applications - **Monitor** the environment to ensure adequate resources (hardware, software, throughput) to meet customer requirements - **Coordinate problem resolution** with customers, teammates, and vendors - **Evaluate** new and existing system software/hardware and recommend improvements to efficiency and functionality - Provide management with **status updates** on projects, problem resolution, and other system administration items requiring upward/outward communication - **Implement, monitor, and maintain cybersecurity compliance** by completing vulnerability mitigations and working with the cybersecurity team - Provide **timely notification** to customers/end-users of **planned maintenance and outage events** ## Qualifications - **DoD Secret Clearance** - **CompTIA Security+** - **High School diploma** - **Minimum 4 years** experience as a **Windows Administrator** (configuring, managing, and maintaining Cloud and on-premise Windows systems) ## Pay & Benefits - **Salary range:** **$80,000/year – $115,000/year** (actual compensation determined based on factors permitted by law) - Benefits include **healthcare**, **paid leave**, **retirement plans**, **insurance programs**, and **education/training assistance** ## Equal Opportunity EEO: **Race/Sex/Disability Status/Veteran Status**
