**Senior Software Engineer, Docs Product** **About the Role** Join Stripe's Docs Product team as a Senior Software Engineer. Lead technical design and architecture of major platform initiatives, define multi-quarter technical roadmaps, and make critical architectural decisions for documentation infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead technical design and architecture of major platform initiatives • Define technical roadmaps for complex, multi-quarter projects spanning multiple teams • Make architectural decisions balancing scalability, reliability, and developer experience • Evaluate and set direction for AI/LLM integration into documentation platforms • Establish engineering standards and best practices • Partner across engineering teams to design integrated solutions • Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable services • Contribute high-quality code across the full stack • Debug and resolve complex production issues • Own system health and incident response **Requirements** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • 4+ years Software Engineering experience • 4+ years in full stack development (Ruby, Java, TypeScript, or Bazel) • 4+ years as technical lead for large projects (6+ month roadmaps across teams) • 2+ years authoring/reviewing technical design documents and driving architectural decisions • 2+ years building and scaling automated testing frameworks • 2+ years designing persistent data models with MongoDB • 2+ years implementing emerging AI/LLM technical standards **Compensation & Details** 💰 $190,400 - $285,600/yr (base salary) ⏰ 40 hrs/week 🏠 50% telecommuting permitted 📍 Multiple positions available **Benefits** Equity, company bonus, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, wellness stipends
