Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) in March 2025. **The Role** Join CoreWeave's Customer Experience (CX) Organization as a Specialist Field Engineer supporting federal security initiatives. You'll serve as the primary technical point of contact for DoD, Intelligence Community, and civilian agency customers, architecting accredited AI/HPC environments that meet mission and compliance requirements. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead technical engagements with federal customers, defense primes, and systems integrators • Architect secure Kubernetes workloads within regulated cloud infrastructure environments • Translate federal security requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, DoD Cloud SRG, CMMC, DISA STIGs) into concrete infrastructure controls • Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts and NIST Risk Management Framework implementation • Lead proof of concept initiatives in classified, air-gapped, and disconnected deployments • Drive technical leadership during customer meetings and stakeholder briefings • Collaborate with CoreWeave's Security product teams to enhance federal offerings • Conduct workload optimization reviews and compliance assessments • Stay current on Kubernetes, cloud security, and federal policy developments • Represent CoreWeave at industry events and conferences **Required Qualifications** • U.S. citizen with active Top Secret/SCI clearance (or active Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI) • B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent) • 7+ years as Solutions Architect, engineer, or forward deployed engineer in cloud infrastructure/HPC • 3+ years supporting federal or Defense Industrial Base customers in technical roles • Hands-on experience delivering systems into accredited federal environments • Fluency in cloud computing, architecture, and design • Strong customer relationship and communication skills • NVIDIA GPU and AI/ML application experience • Deep Kubernetes administration expertise (RBAC, admission controllers, container security) • Security concepts expertise and Kubernetes security tooling knowledge • Working knowledge of hardened container supply chains, image provenance, SBOMs, FIPS 140 cryptography, and STIG-compliant baselines **Nice to Have** • DoD network environment experience (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS) or IC cloud programs • Prior work at CSP, defense prime, or federal systems integrator • Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CMMC RP, CCA, or equivalent
