**Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering** **About Form Energy** Form Energy is revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology for grid reliability. We're scaling production at our West Virginia manufacturing facility and seeking talented individuals to join our mission. **The Role** Build and lead a manufacturing test engineering team developing test equipment, software, and data systems for battery production. You'll work across Product Development, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to create robust test solutions. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead a team of manufacturing test engineers deploying test equipment for assembly processes • Design scalable test software, GUIs, and operator workflows for cell, module, and pack-level manufacturing • Develop and validate production test equipment, fixtures, PLCs, and instrumentation • Integrate test systems with MES, databases, and factory automation platforms • Partner on safety systems for high-voltage environments • Support factory expansions and define test requirements with cross-functional teams • Implement automated data collection and reporting with strict revision control • Lead root-cause investigations during commissioning and production ramps • Create technical documentation and support operator training **Required Experience** • 10+ years developing automated test systems in manufacturing or industrial environments • 5+ years building and managing manufacturing test engineering teams • Proficiency in LabVIEW, Python, C#, C++, Go, or similar languages • Experience with test architectures, software frameworks, and scalable processes • Instrumentation integration and data acquisition expertise • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, Protobuf) • Electrical test methodologies and troubleshooting skills • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field • Experience scaling test systems from prototype to high-volume manufacturing • Factory launch and production ramp experience preferred **Location** Weirton, WV (Form Factory 1) — Relocation assistance available **Benefits** 100% medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees; 80% for dependents • 12+ weeks paid parental leave • Generous vacation • Stock options • Competitive salary
