## Embedded Software Engineer — Battery Management Systems **Team:** Firmware Power Systems (Zoox) ### Responsibilities - Design, build, and test **real-time embedded software** in **C/C++** for **Battery Management Systems (BMS)** - Implement **safety algorithms** - Support **board bring-up** and **hardware-software integration** - Develop and optimize **power management** and **efficiency** - Implement **charging control** and **operator controls** - Integrate **supplier systems** and coordinate/control **power sub-systems** - Contribute to **low-level vehicle controls** ### Collaboration - Work closely with **vehicle**, **systems**, and **controls** engineers, as well as **suppliers**, to ensure the vehicle can drive **safely and reliably** ### What We’re Looking For - Passion for **hardware-focused development** - Ability to deliver **production-quality code** for **complex, dynamic systems**
