**Engineering Manager - Cost Intelligence** **Location:** Bellevue, WA **About the Role:** Lead the Cost Intelligence engineering team at Snowflake. Own the technical vision and execution for features and systems that help customers understand, monitor, and optimize their Snowflake consumption and spend. **Key Responsibilities:** • Lead and grow a talented team of software engineers with a focus on technical excellence and continuous learning • Drive the roadmap for cost allocation, resource budgeting, anomaly detection, and optimization recommendations • Set technical strategy for backend systems, data pipelines, and APIs at massive scale • Own end-to-end delivery: planning, design reviews, execution, launch, and iteration • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science, and engineering teams • Contribute to Snowflake engineering-wide initiatives and best practices **Required Qualifications:** • 8+ years software engineering experience; 3+ years in engineering management leading scalable systems • Strong foundation in distributed systems, data engineering, or cloud-native backend development • Proven ability to define and execute multi-quarter technical roadmaps • Experience with cost management, budgeting, billing, or FinOps tooling (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Experience with anomaly detection, time-series analysis, or ML-driven cost optimization • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences • Track record of hiring, growing, and retaining engineering talent • Strong hands-on technical skills • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience **About Snowflake:** Powering the era of the agentic enterprise.
