**Software Engineer, Mobile (Flutter)** **About Plane** Plane is building the infrastructure the world's work runs on. We bring projects, knowledge, and requests into one open, adaptable platform. We're building for a future where humans and AI agents work together. **The Role** You'll own feature areas end to end—from interface through native code—on our Flutter mobile app. You'll work across both iOS and Android, building features that reach users instantly through notifications and widgets. You'll collaborate daily with backend, design, product, and QA teams across San Francisco and Hyderabad. **What You'll Do** • Own feature areas end to end, from interface to native code • Build consistent architecture across the app • Own native surfaces: home screen widgets, quick actions, method channels • Optimize the editor experience on mobile • Manage how work reaches phones: push notifications, inbox, activity feeds • Write test scenarios for both platforms • Ship against multiple server versions simultaneously **What You'll Bring** • Shipped and maintained Flutter apps in production • Strong understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles • Expertise in state management patterns (we use Bloc) • Dependency injection as a habit • Unit and widget testing as part of your workflow • Ability to match existing codebase patterns **Nice to Haves** • Native Android/iOS code experience • WebView and JavaScript-Dart bridging experience • Bloc or Flutter package maintenance • Local caching and persistence layer experience • Self-hosted or regulated environment experience **Tech Stack** Flutter, Dart, Bloc, GoRouter, Swift, Kotlin, GraphQL, REST, Isar, ObjectBox, Firebase Cloud Messaging, GitHub Actions, Fastlane **Why Plane?** Real scope—your work ships to Fortune 500 companies and startups simultaneously.
