**Technical Program Manager, AI Accelerator Software** **About the Team** OpenAI's Hardware organization develops AI-native silicon and system-level solutions for advanced AI workloads. The team is building next-generation AI-native silicon and integrated systems to power frontier models through co-designed chips, systems, tools, and methodologies. **About the Role** Help bring AI accelerator chips and system hardware roadmaps to life by navigating technical and partnership challenges. This San Francisco-based role uses a hybrid model (3 days/week in office) with relocation assistance available. **Key Responsibilities** • Manage end-to-end software development from design to implementation for AI acceleration systems • Lead planning and scheduling of AI system software designs with strategic partners and vendors • Coordinate internal resources and communication for efficient partner/vendor interaction **Ideal Candidate** • Experience as a software technical program manager for data center system products (server, GPU, TPU, networking, storage) • Track record taking products from concept to volume production in data center environments • Knowledge of end-to-end software development program management from concept through deployment • Passion for designing large-scale supercomputing systems and solving complex hardware challenges • Ability to work with and enable world-class AI researchers and engineers • Strong ownership mentality and drive to deliver on cutting-edge AI compute problems **Note:** U.S. export control compliance may require certain legal status requirements for this role.
