**Intern, Agent Development (Winter 2027)** **About Sierra** Sierra is building a platform enabling companies worldwide to create better, more human customer experiences with AI. We partner with industry leaders like SoftBank, Uber, Rivian, CLEAR, and Sutter Health. Primarily in-person in San Francisco with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia. **The Role** As a Software Engineer, Agent Intern, you'll work directly on production AI agents for Sierra's customers. Gain hands-on experience contributing to AI agent design and development, shipping features, and learning from real-world use cases at scale. **What You'll Bring** • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field • Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing, ambiguous environments • Builder's mindset with high agency—creative problem-solving and shipping focus • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences **Even Better** • Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production • Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering • Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go **Qualifications** • Open to students graduating December 2027 – June 2028 • Interns receive monthly stipend for health insurance, daily lunch, and free alphorn lessons **Our Values** Trust • Customer Obsession • Craftsmanship • Intensity • Family **Why Join** Work on the most important technological wave in history.
