**Senior Product Security Engineer** **About the Company** Anyscale is democratizing distributed computing by commercializing Ray, an open-source distributed computing framework used by companies like OpenAI, Uber, Spotify, and Instacart. Backed by Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, and Addition with $250M+ raised. **The Role** Own Anyscale's secure software development lifecycle as we scale to larger customers. Report to Head of Security and partner closely with engineering to build security into the product. This is a senior, high-ownership position based in India. **Key Responsibilities** • Own and operate a scalable SSDL: threat modeling, security requirements, secure design practices, and scanning • Partner with engineering on security features and secure-by-design architecture • Review security of existing systems and new initiatives • Own vulnerability management: enumerate components, map known vulnerabilities, produce posture reporting • Drive vulnerabilities to resolution with engineering against defined SLAs • Own software composition analysis, secret scanning, and SAST across repositories • Mentor engineers and raise security bar across the organization **Required Experience** • 8+ years in product or application security at senior level (ideally at high-growth startup) • Demonstrated ownership of SSDL at scale including threat modeling and secure design review • Strong hands-on partnership with engineering on security features and architecture • Deep experience with SCA, secret scanning, SAST, and secure-development tooling • Understanding of software supply chain security and SBOM approaches • Experience triaging vulnerabilities using CVSS and driving resolution • Communication skills and seniority to set direction and mentor **Nice to Have** • Vulnerability/security posture reporting for enterprise or regulated customers • Container artifact security (image scanning, signing, SBOM generation) • Experience building/maturing SSDL programs at scale • Background in AI/ML platforms or distributed systems
