You'll build coverage for challenging scenarios: concurrent editing, offline recovery, and agent actions with non-deterministic outcomes. **What You'll Do** • Own end-to-end test automation for web and desktop clients • Build coverage for concurrent editing, offline/recovery, and agent actions • Decide coverage priorities—testing where failures reach customers • Keep suites fast and trustworthy; eliminate flaky tests • Test across Cloud, self-hosted, and legacy versions • Collaborate daily with engineers and product in San Francisco and Hyderabad • Triage failures and separate real defects from environment issues **What You'll Bring** • Built automation frameworks (not just tests within them) • Fluent in Playwright or Cypress + TypeScript or JavaScript • Experience fixing flaky test suites at scale • API and interface testing expertise • CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or comparable) **Nice to Haves** • Contributed to Plane or maintained open-source projects • Tested real-time collaborative or offline-first applications • Experience with AI agent testing and non-deterministic assertions • Cross-browser, visual regression, or Electron desktop testing **Tech Stack** Playwright, TypeScript, GitHub Actions, React, ProseMirror, Electron, Python/Django, Golang, Elixir, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes **Why Plane?** Ship real products used by Fortune 500 companies and startups simultaneously.
