Strong product-market fit, world-class investor support, and rapid scaling. **Role Overview** Founding member of the Security Engineering team defining and driving technical strategy for identity and access at Harvey. You'll shape how customers authenticate, how internal teams access systems, and how access adapts as needs change. **Key Responsibilities** • Define Harvey's multi-year technical strategy for identity, authentication, authorization, and privileged access • Design and build complex identity systems from greenfield, owning them in production • Lead cross-functional initiatives for access management at scale • Extend identity models to non-human and agentic identities • Serve as technical authority for identity and access architecture **Required Experience** • 10+ years building and operating production software with demonstrated impact • Deep expertise in identity/access domains (authentication, federation, authorization, entitlement modeling, or privileged access) • Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows • Experience designing identity/authorization platforms used by engineering teams • Track record delivering foundational systems with meaningful adoption • Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure, GCP, AWS) • Strong cross-functional communication skills **Nice to Have** SCIM, OIDC, SAML, policy engines (OPA/Cedar), Zanzibar-style authorization, IGA/PAM platforms, hyper-growth startup experience, regulated environments (FedRAMP) **Compensation** $231,000 - $340,000 USD (depending on location) **Equal Opportunity Employer** Harvey does not discriminate and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations.
