**Software Engineer - AIM Virtualization** **About the Role** Join Snowflake's AIM Virtualization team to work on industry-first database interoperability solutions. You'll participate in AI-based development across the full platform, from syntactic and semantic analysis to wire protocols and data ingest/egress. Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and field engineering to enable critical database transitions for customers. **Key Responsibilities** • Participate in AI-based development across the full platform • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable customer database migrations • Define and improve engineering processes around AI-based software synthesis workflows **What We're Looking For** • 2-7 years of experience in SQL and/or functional programming languages • Solid knowledge of database internals (query parsing, optimization, execution) • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science (databases, high-performance computing, or related fields) • Boundless curiosity and imagination to use AI in novel ways • Ability to tackle hard and unusual challenges **About Snowflake** Snowflake is powering the era of the agentic enterprise.
