**Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security** **About the Role** Join Notion's Infrastructure Security team as an IC4 to build secure-by-default foundations across our technical stacks. Own meaningful infrastructure security problems end-to-end—from identifying risk to designing pragmatic controls to shipping secure defaults at scale. **What You'll Achieve** • Proactively enhance security posture of AWS accounts and cloud infrastructure • Create secure frameworks for secrets management and authentication/authorization • Design and deploy robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions • Provide guidance on security and privacy best practices to cross-functional partners • Participate in security incident response and mitigation strategies **Skills You'll Need** • Security architecture expertise (cloud architectures, secrets management, IAM) • Backend/infrastructure development with production-grade code experience • Ability to debug and improve production systems with minimal disruption • Pragmatic, risk-based prioritization and threat modeling • Clear communication and thoughtful collaboration **Nice to Haves** • AWS security best practices and zero trust architecture experience • Data security or privacy engineering background • AI tooling applied to defensive security workflows • Participation in security communities **Location & Work** San Francisco or New York City | On-site Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays **Compensation** $230,000 - $280,000 base salary (SF/NYC) + competitive equity and benefits **Equal Opportunity** Notion is an equal opportunity employer.
