**Staff Network Engineer** **Location:** MPK/Bellevue/Dublin **About the Role:** Lead the design, operation, and optimization of Snowflake's Zero Trust and secure-access platform. Own the health, performance, and roadmap of our ZIA/ZPA deployment while supporting a global workforce of 10,000+ users across a modern, multi-cloud network stack. **Key Responsibilities:** • Own and operate Zscaler platform (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC) end-to-end • Troubleshoot secure-access incidents and lead root-cause analysis • Manage Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect VPN • Support Aruba Wireless and Cisco Catalyst switches globally • Design and configure network devices and ISP circuits at new offices • Build automation and observability using log analytics and Snowflake telemetry • Troubleshoot cloud network constructs in AWS, Azure, and GCP • Author technical runbooks and knowledge-base content • Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response • Travel internationally for short periods for site builds **Required Experience:** • 10+ years enterprise network infrastructure experience • 3+ years hands-on Zscaler ZIA/ZPA design and deployment at scale • Zero Trust/SASE architecture expertise (ZTNA, proxy/SWG, SSL inspection) • Palo Alto (PAN-OS, GlobalProtect, Panorama) and enterprise VPN experience • Aruba wireless and Cisco LAN/WAN fundamentals • Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, TLS/DTLS, BGP, and QoS troubleshooting • Multi-cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) experience • Python scripting, API configuration, and log observability skills **Nice to Have:** Zscaler, Palo Alto, Aruba, or Cisco certifications • VPN migration experience • SASE and IaC (Terraform) familiarity • SaaS/cloud-native environment experience For salary and benefits information, visit careers.snowflake.com
