Backed by top investors, with teams across San Francisco, London, and Hyderabad. **The Role** Own the technical architecture for enterprise and regulated-industry deployments. You'll translate complex infrastructure and compliance requirements into Plane deployments that actually work, working directly with sales on major deals and with engineering when customer needs push our boundaries. **What You'll Do** • Design self-hosted and air-gapped Plane deployments for security-conscious customers • Run technical discovery with infrastructure and compliance teams • Define migration paths when customers transition from multiple legacy tools • Partner with sales on live deals and engineering on product gaps • Answer security questionnaires and compliance requirements in deployment terms **What You'll Bring** • Experience designing and defending technical architecture to skeptical buyers • Deep knowledge of self-hosted/on-premises deployment (networking, SSO, identity federation) • Ability to translate security questionnaires into actual deployment decisions • Comfort being the technical voice on sales calls, including saying "no" or "not yet" • Strong technical documentation skills for customer engineering teams **Nice to Haves** • Pre-sales or post-sales experience in solutions architecture or technical account management • Contributions to Plane or other open-source projects • Deployments into banking, defense, healthcare, or air-gapped environments • Opinions on AI agent permissioning and auditing in enterprise environments **Tech Stack** Python/Django, Golang, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, SAML, OIDC, SCIM **Why Plane?** Real scope serving Fortune 500 companies and startups simultaneously.
