**Staff Network Production Engineer, Operations** **About the Role:** Crusoe Cloud is seeking a Staff Network Production Operations Engineer to own production reliability across global network infrastructure, including edge, backbone, data center fabric, and GPU cluster interconnects. This hands-on role focuses on incident response, root cause analysis, and operational excellence for hyperscale AI infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities:** • Production Reliability: Own uptime across global edge, backbone, data center, and GPU cluster networks • Operational Automation: Build Python-based tooling to reduce toil and accelerate mean time to resolution • Incident Response: Develop scripts for detection, triage, and mitigation during high-severity events • Root Cause Analysis: Build tooling to surface systemic issues and drive remediation • Observability: Automate monitoring stack (telemetry, SNMP, NetFlow, Kentik, Grafana, Prometheus, ThousandEyes) • Operational Standards: Author runbooks, escalation playbooks, and SOPs • SLI/SLO Definition: Partner with Architecture and SRE teams on reliability metrics • Mentorship: Guide Senior engineers on automation and operational excellence **Required Qualifications:** • 8+ years production network engineering in large-scale environments • Strong Python and scripting proficiency • Hands-on experience with observability tools (streaming telemetry, SNMP, NetFlow, Grafana, Prometheus, ThousandEyes) • RDMA/RoCE lossless fabric experience (PFC, ECN, DCQCN) • Expert knowledge: BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, TCP/IP • Proficiency with Arista (EOS) and Juniper (Junos) in leaf-spine CLOS architectures • Multi-region fleet operations with on-call responsibility • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience **Bonus Skills:** NVIDIA/Mellanox networking, Kentik/Arbor, SLI/SLO definition, 10K+ device fleet experience, post-incident learning programs **Compensation:** $195,000 - $235,000 + Bonus + RSUs **Benefits:** Competitive equity, PTO, comprehensive health/dental/vision, HSA contributions, parental leave, professional development, wellness support, 401(k) match, and more.
