**Staff Software Engineer, HPC** Zoox is looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to build, scale, and operate custom High-Performance Computing infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities:** • Modernize HPC platform built on Ray.io, SLURM, and Kubernetes • Focus on reliability, scalability, and developer velocity • Support compute, storage, and scheduling demands across the company • Collaborate with Autonomy and Software teams on workload requirements • Define HPC platform strategy technically and organizationally **Impact:** Provide backbone infrastructure for development workflows across all software teams—from data engineering to AI model training (Perception, Planner, Prediction, Simulation, and more). **What You'll Get:** • High degree of independence • Direct impact on engineering team productivity • Opportunity to shape platform strategy
