Trusted by 800+ leading enterprises. **About This Role:** Join the Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) team to become an Apache Airflow expert. You'll provide direct expertise to customers, solving challenging Airflow problems and ensuring mission-critical systems run reliably. **What You'll Do:** • Learn expertise across Airflow, data engineering, Kubernetes, and cloud engineering • Solve complex Airflow problems—from optimization to identifying bugs • Spend ~20% time on side projects (open-source contributions, internal tools) • Work directly with customers' data engineers, DevOps teams, and management • Provide "white glove" guidance on the path to production • Participate in 24x7 coverage with 6-hour pager periods and paid on-call rotation • Work fully remote within a distributed team **What You Bring:** • Data engineering background • 4+ years Python experience • 1+ year Airflow administration and DAG creation • Kubernetes/Docker/Containers experience • Experience with distributed systems (AWS, GCP, Azure) • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication • Experience mentoring junior team members **Bonus:** Open-source contributions, customer support experience, SQL/PostgreSQL, Databricks/Snowflake/Redshift/dbt **Compensation:** $125,000 - $130,000 + equity + comprehensive benefits **Note:** Mandatory in-person interview required.
