**Deployed Engineer, Professional Services** **About LangChain** We're building the foundation for agent engineering in the real world. We've raised $125M at Series B and work with 6,000+ LangSmith customers, including 5 of the Fortune 10. **The Role** Join our Professional Services team to work directly with enterprise customers building reliable, production agents. You'll translate enterprise workflows into concrete software specs and guide engineering teams through solutions—whether advising, co-building, or embedded as a de facto team member. **Key Responsibilities** • Advising on agent architecture design, evaluation strategy, and production best practices • Co-building with customer engineering teams across the full Agent Development Lifecycle • Embedding inside customer teams for extended engagements to ship agent systems • Agent Engineering: architecture design, orchestration patterns, evals, custom UIs, deployment • Applied AI: post-training, fine-tuning, model selection, and evaluation methodology **Requirements** • 4+ years software engineering experience with deep Python expertise (TypeScript/JavaScript a plus) • 2+ years hands-on building and shipping production agent systems • Strong client-facing communication skills with technical stakeholders • Deep experience with LangChain/LangGraph/Deep Agents or comparable frameworks • Strong experience designing evaluation methodologies for non-deterministic AI systems • Comfortable across advisory to embedded delivery spectrum **Nice to Have** • Exposure to dataset curation and post-training techniques (SFT, DPO, RLHF) • Experience with trace mining for continuous improvement **Location** Remote **Compensation** $150,000–$215,000 base + equity **Benefits** Medical, dental, vision coverage, flexible vacation, 401(k), meals on in-office days (US), and more
