Plane is the #1 work infrastructure in aerospace, defense, financial services, and regulated industries. **The Role** You'll embed directly with strategic customers to deliver custom integrations from technical conversation through production deployment. You own end-to-end delivery, design technical approaches, write the code yourself, and work alongside customer engineers to solve integration challenges that generic support cannot address. **What You'll Do** • Own end-to-end custom integration delivery for strategic customers • Build against unfamiliar APIs and infrastructure in customer environments • Design and implement technical solutions for specific use cases • Work embedded with customer teams while staying connected to Plane's engineering • Identify one-off integrations vs. product gaps and escalate appropriately • Debug integrations in customer environments with limited direct access **What You'll Bring** • Shipped production code integrating with real customer systems • Proficiency in Python and API design (auth flows, webhooks, integrations) • Experience working embedded with demanding stakeholders • Ability to communicate with both engineers and executives • Ownership of projects with real deadlines and no clear handoff **Nice to Haves** • Contributions to Plane or other open-source projects • Experience in regulated/isolated environments (banking, defense, healthcare) • Built systems with AI agent action on real data • Forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or professional services background **Tech Stack** Python/Django, Golang, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, REST/webhook APIs, SSO **Why Plane?** Real scope serving Fortune 500 companies and startups.
