**Senior Analytics Engineer** **About Prefect** Prefect builds automation for an unpredictable world. We're part of an ecosystem that includes Dagster (data platform), Prefect (agent platform), and FastMCP (MCP framework), trusted by Fortune 500 companies worldwide. **The Role** You'll own go-to-market analytics and data modeling for two products with distinct funnels. Report to our Chief Growth Officer and collaborate with marketing, sales, RevOps, and product teams. **Key Responsibilities** • Build and maintain the go-to-market data model (dbt, version controlled, tested, documented) • Model self-serve and sales funnels end-to-end across Prefect Cloud and Dagster+ • Develop attribution models (first touch, last touch, multi-touch) that marketing and sales accept • Calculate unit economics: CAC, payback, LTV/CAC, ROI by channel and segment • Create reporting layer in Omni for self-service analytics • Help establish go-to-market rhythm and cadence **Required Qualifications** • 4+ years building production dbt models on cloud warehouses (tests, CI, version control) • Strong SQL + Python for API pulls, data enrichment, and automation • Experience with semantic layers (Omni, Looker, or similar) • Direct GTM analytics work: funnel conversion, attribution, CAC, payback, ROI • Familiarity with Salesforce, Amplitude, Segment, HubSpot • Product-led/self-serve business experience • Engineering or data background; you write, read, and deploy code • Comfort with AI-native development **Nice to Have** • Amplitude product analytics experience • Developer tools or open-source background **Not a Fit If** • You want to focus on ML/data science • You expect clean data (messy data is the work) • You prefer taking tickets over defining what to measure • You're seeking management opportunities soon (IC role) **Compensation & Benefits** • Base: $154k–$222k depending on location and experience • Equity, 401(k) with 5% match, unlimited PTO • Medical, dental, vision, parental leave, life insurance • $800/month remote work stipend • Remote-first, flexible-first culture **Prefect is an equal opportunity employer.**
