**Integrations Operations Engineer** **About the Role** The Integrations Operations Engineering team strengthens Plaid's network by resolving integration issues and building new connections with financial institutions. You'll write and ship code that keeps connectivity healthy, use data to prioritize high-impact issues, and work directly with financial institution partners. **Key Responsibilities** • Investigate and resolve high-impact integration issues with maintainable, tested code • Prioritize work by customer impact using Plaid's business-value-based model • Escalate and collaborate with Data Partners to diagnose and resolve issues at the source • Apply mitigation techniques to keep integration traffic flowing • Provide code review and maintain the integrations codebase • Handle escalations from internal teams with appropriate prioritization • Meet SLAs on Business-Critical issues • Maintain and improve the integrations issue backlog and team processes • Occasionally build new integrations with financial institutions • Rotate through on-call duties to maintain uptime **What We're Looking For** • 1.5+ years in a highly technical role (software engineering, technical support, etc.) • Experience developing web services, APIs, and integrations • Strong troubleshooting and debugging instincts • Customer-first attitude with empathy for impact • Data-oriented problem-solving approach (SQL or similar) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to improve processes and increase efficiency • Track record of resolving high volumes of technical issues • Familiarity with TypeScript, NodeJS, SQL, and/or Golang (preferred) **About Plaid** Plaid powers the tools millions rely on for healthier financial lives, working with thousands of companies and covering 12,000+ financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe.
