**Senior Manager, AI Corporate Engineering** **About the Role** Lead Vanta's AI Corporate Engineering platform layer—the infrastructure that keeps 1,500+ people connected, secure, and moving fast. You'll own the backbone that makes internal AI adoption safer, cheaper, and better supported across the company. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead a senior team spanning platform engineering and technical program management • Own the AI access layer: identity, authentication, permissions, and guardrails • Drive AI cost engineering: attribution, model right-sizing, budget controls • Manage the MCP layer for internal tools: commissioning, governance, impact assessment • Define the paved path for internal applications with sensible security defaults • Build enablement: skills registry, evaluation frameworks, technical training • Write and hold the charter defining Corporate Engineering's scope and intake • Partner across Engineering, GRC, Security, Data, Finance, and People **What We're Looking For** • 8+ years in platform/infrastructure/systems engineering; 3+ years managing engineers • Experience standing up internal AI/developer platforms from scratch • Fluency in AI cost engineering, token economics, and agent architecture • Hands-on technical depth: LLM tooling, MCP, OAuth, CI/CD, infrastructure as code • Data governance expertise in regulated environments • Ability to operate through influence and influence across organizations • Comfort building for non-engineer audiences without lowering security standards • U.S. work authorization required; no sponsorship needed • Open to using AI responsibly to amplify skills and impact **What You'll Get** Competitive salary + equity, comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision 100% covered), 16 weeks paid parental leave, health stipend, remote workspace stipend, 401(k) matching, flexible PTO + 80 hours sick time, 11 holidays, offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, Sydney. **About Vanta** We help businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring and verification.
