**Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Growth** **ROLE SUMMARY** Join our high-impact team focused on product scalability, customer experience, and revenue growth. Own business-critical services including customer onboarding/offboarding, billing and metering, cloud marketplace integrations, and account data integrations. Lead technical direction for systems that directly impact Temporal's revenue engine and customer journey. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** • Lead end-to-end technical design for customer acquisition, onboarding, and revenue operations • Define system architecture for high-throughput, fault-tolerant metering and billing pipelines • Partner with Finance, RevOps, and Sales to translate business needs into scalable systems • Own account lifecycle flows from acquisition through activation, expansion, billing, and offboarding • Ensure revenue data coherence across CRM, support, analytics, and BI systems • Design customer-facing usage and cost transparency APIs • Build distributed data systems with strong correctness guarantees and monitoring • Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards • Improve developer and customer experience through automation and tooling **TECHNOLOGY STACK** Go • PostgreSQL • ClickHouse • Redshift • S3/GCS/Azure Blob • Kinesis • Firehose • Kubernetes • Temporal • Stripe • Salesforce • Segment **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** • Significant production backend systems design and delivery (cloud environments preferred) • Strong proficiency in Go or similar systems/backend language • Distributed systems expertise: concurrency, reliability, scaling, consistency • Data pipelines and storage systems (Postgres, Redshift, Kafka/Kinesis, S3-like) • Third-party SaaS integration experience (billing, CRM, support, analytics) • Production operations: observability, incident response, on-call readiness • Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, RevOps, Sales, Support • Excellent written and verbal communication • Builder mindset focused on simplification and continuous improvement **WHAT YOU'LL GET** High-impact ownership over revenue-tied systems • Collaborative engineering culture • Exceptional technical colleagues • Autonomy with lean processes • Strong emphasis on reliability and operational excellence • Mentorship-focused environment **Equal Opportunity Employer** Temporal Technologies does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin, veteran status, or any other legally protected basis.
