**Staff Analyst, Finance Analytics & AI** **About the Role** Join Snowflake's AI-first Finance Analytics team. This is a high-breadth role where you design and build AI agents, Streamlit applications, and semantic models that replace traditional BI workflows. You'll work in CoCo (Cortex Code) and SnowWork, building intelligence layers for Strategic Finance. **What You'll Work On** • **AI Agent & Workflow Development** - Design agentic experiences for revenue analysis, cost monitoring, earnings prep, and headcount tracking • **Finance Analytics** - Build revenue pipelines, sensitivity analysis models, and ad-hoc analysis • **Semantic Layer & Applications** - Own semantic models end-to-end and develop production Streamlit dashboards • **Earnings & Reporting Automation** - Support quarterly cycles and maintain source-of-truth reporting exports **Hard Skills Required** ✓ Daily AI-assisted development (CoCo, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) ✓ Prompt engineering & skill authoring (YAML + Markdown) ✓ Modern Python (type-hinted, production-ready) ✓ Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, incremental patterns) ✓ Data modeling fundamentals (bronze/silver/gold layers) **Strong Plus** • Snowflake Cortex experience • SnowWork / CoCo expertise • Finance literacy (ARR, NRR, revenue waterfalls) • Reporting automation (openpyxl, Excel exports) • dbt experience • Semantic search / embeddings **Soft Skills** • Translates between AI, data, and finance stakeholders • Thinks in workflows, not tasks—automates recurring work • Works fast with high accuracy on weekly finance cadence • Comfortable with ambiguity; ships prototypes for feedback **Minimum Requirements** • 3-5+ years in analytics, data engineering, or technical finance • Daily AI coding assistant usage • Proficient SQL (window functions without lookup) • Multiple shipped Python applications in production • Git proficiency (PRs, branches, code review) • Familiar with fiscal year concepts and revenue metrics **Success at 90 Days** ✓ Own quarterly/weekly revenue workflows ✓ Ship a Streamlit app or demo application ✓ Participate in earnings cycle ✓ Contribute shared infrastructure module **Why This Role is Unusual** You're simultaneously a practitioner and workflow engineer.
