**GTM Staff Data Scientist** **About the Role** Snowflake's Data Analytics and AI org is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to provide technical leadership for next-generation AI & Machine Learning powered GTM decision systems. You'll drive high-impact work across sales and marketing, from propensity modeling to measuring causal effects of GTM investments. **Key Responsibilities** • Set technical direction for a portfolio of AI/ML GTM decision systems • Develop pipeline forecasting, propensity, risk, and next-outcome models • Build recommendation and next-best-action systems for GTM teams • Apply causal inference and experimentation to measure campaign impact • Define standards for training, backtesting, calibration, and business impact evaluation • Partner with GTM leaders and RevOps to embed outputs into workflows • Mentor data scientists and raise technical standards across teams **Required Qualifications** • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, CS, or related quantitative field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years building production-grade statistical/ML systems with business impact • Track record setting technical direction across ambiguous, cross-functional problems • Deep expertise in causal inference, experimentation, forecasting, propensity/uplift modeling, or recommendation systems • Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with large-scale data platforms • Demonstrated ownership of high-stakes outputs for business/executive stakeholders • Excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills **Especially Valuable** B2B SaaS/enterprise sales experience • Pipeline forecasting and account prioritization • Incrementality testing and causal measurement • Recommendation systems and decision optimization • LLM/AI-assisted workflows • CRM and marketing automation expertise • Proven impact on business adoption and outcomes
