**Operations Manager, Signal Systems** **About the Role** Own the data infrastructure that powers Vanta's engineering, product, and design organization. You'll bring new signal sources online end-to-end—from discovery through ingestion, standardization, and live operation—while building systems that make underlying data trustworthy. **Key Responsibilities** • Bring new signal sources online end-to-end (discovery, scoping, ingestion, standardization, operation) • Identify failure modes in information sources and build mitigation systems at the point of ingestion • Understand what signals mean to producing and consuming teams; build accordingly • Replace human-diligence dependencies with engineering solutions (derive fields, validate at write time) • Mentor teammates growing into building roles; raise their technical ceiling • Partner with inference and systems layers to ensure data is queryable, trustworthy, and buildable **What We're Looking For** • You see data sources' failure modes before their contents (staleness, duplication, schema limits) • Your first move on adherence problems is engineering—derive, pull, or validate at write time • You've shipped something real in the last 12-18 months (pipeline, tool, prototype, agent) and can defend your choices • You've built something with Claude, an LLM API, or agentic tooling—not just ChatGPT for drafts • You build alongside people and see growing their capability as part of your mandate • You talk to data producers/consumers and return with changed understanding, not just requirements • No CS degree or formal tenure required—shipping real things fast with AI-assisted tooling clears our bar **What You'll Get** Competitive salary + equity • Medical/dental/vision (100% employee premiums covered) • 16 weeks paid parental leave • Health & wellness stipend • Remote workspace stipend • 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO + 80 hours sick time • 11 company holidays • Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, Sydney **About Vanta** We help businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring and verification.
