We’re scaling fast, defining a new category in real time, and building a generational company at a true inflection point. ### Role Overview The Staff Web Developer joins Harvey’s Web team as the senior technical leader for the architecture, data foundations, and systems integration behind **harvey.ai** and every web-facing surface. You’ll own the technical strategy for the platform—**Next.js + Sanity architecture**, the integration layer connecting the website to marketing/analytics/GTM systems, and the automation/testing practices the team currently lacks. You’ll be the most senior engineer on a small, front-end-leaning team, setting standards and mentoring while building foundational systems from scratch. ### What You’ll Do - **Own the end-to-end architecture** of Harvey’s web platform (Next.js/Vercel app, Sanity content layer, and supporting services/APIs) with a focus on **reliability, performance, and scalability**. - **Design and build data foundations and integration patterns** connecting the website to marketing, analytics, CRM, and GTM systems for both **real-time and batch** workloads. - **Establish automation and delivery practices**: CI/CD, preview/deploy tooling, and robust automated testing to reduce operational toil and increase team velocity. - **Set observability standards** (structured logging, tracing, Core Web Vitals/performance budgets, alerting) so issues are caught and resolved before Marketing is impacted. - **Lead AI/ML application to web workflows**, from content operations and personalization to internal tooling—bridging product engineering and web engineering. - **Partner with Security and Infrastructure** to harden the platform without slowing developer experience. - **Provide technical leadership and mentorship** to a small front-end-leaning team. *Note: This posting text appears truncated at the end of the provided description.*
