**Embedded Software Engineer, Wireless Technologies** **Role Overview** Own software integration, performance optimization, and debugging of the TCU (Telematics Control Unit) for autonomous vehicles. Manage complex architecture integrating third-party hardware with the autonomous vehicle platform. **Key Responsibilities** • Analyze diagnostics and log outputs across cellular networks, 4G/5G modems, internal software layers, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth • Reactively troubleshoot complex field issues and proactively architect robust host-side connectivity software • Handle cellular edge cases and vulnerabilities before they impact operations • Safeguard safety, reliability, and scaling of the autonomous fleet **Impact** Ensure vehicles maintain seamless, high-performance connections under demanding real-world conditions. Enable essential real-time cloud services, fleet management pipelines, and teleoperation capabilities. **Requirements** • Profound understanding of wireless stacks and cross-layer integration • Expertise in defining architecture and utilizing vendor interfaces • Strong debugging skills for complex multi-layer systems
