**Senior Software Engineer - NatSec** **About the Role:** Snowflake is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support public sector operations requiring compliant, secure, and auditable infrastructure. You'll lead key areas across cloud infrastructure, privacy, governance, and compliance while collaborating with engineering and Public Sector teams. **Key Responsibilities:** • Design, implement, and maintain scalable distributed systems for cloud automation platforms • Work directly with customers to understand critical problems and implement solutions • Deploy and maintain cloud compute servers and Kubernetes clusters in sensitive production environments • Implement software delivery pipelines supporting continuous delivery and automatic compliance • Ensure operational readiness, security, reliability, availability, and performance • Troubleshoot network and systems issues; automate routine operational tasks **Required Qualifications:** • **Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph** (must be current) • **U.S. Citizenship** (required by federal law) • 7+ years designing and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production • Recent public sector customer deployment experience • In-depth experience with storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi) • Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems) • Development expertise in Java, C++, Golang, or Python • Database systems and internals knowledge • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field **Additional Requirements:** • Must be willing and able to maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph • Proof of clearance required prior to offer • Must meet all applicable customer and government security screening requirements For salary and benefits information, visit careers.snowflake.com
