**TLM, Production Engineering** **ABOUT RAMP** Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how $200B+ in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. We're looking for builders with high agency who own problems end-to-end. **ABOUT PRODUCTION ENGINEERING** Production Engineering is Ramp's infrastructure ownership layer. We make Ramp faster, more reliable, and more scalable by being embedded in the problems, not adjacent to them. We operate across four areas: • **Compute** - container orchestration, networking, deployment systems • **Storage** - databases, caching, data infrastructure • **Workflows & Messaging** - financial workflows and event-driven architecture • **Internal Infrastructure** - observability, cost attribution, CI/CD systems **WHAT YOU'LL DO** • Build and operate critical infrastructure handling real financial transactions at scale • Drive architectural change and own solutions end-to-end • Partner with product teams at the design phase • Contribute to our cellular architecture shift for international scale and enterprise SLAs • Enable AI-native engineering across the platform • Build developer tooling and self-service infrastructure • Participate in on-call rotation and eliminate root causes • Lead cross-company architectural initiatives **WHAT WE LOOK FOR** • 3+ years of software engineering experience shipping critical systems • Strong fundamentals in distributed systems at production scale • Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS preferred) • Familiarity with observability practices (SLOs, error budgets, alerting) • Track record of leading technical projects with cross-team coordination • Comfortable using AI tooling and coding agents **BONUS SKILLS** Cellular/multi-tenant architecture, workflow orchestration (Temporal), developer experience tooling, fintech/payments/regulated industry experience **BENEFITS** (varies by location) Flexible PTO, health/wellness stipend, home office equipment, 401(k) matching, parental leave, relocation coverage, and more.
