We're looking for an Android Engineer to develop exceptional and innovative Android applications. **What You'll Do** • Develop and implement complex, high-performing native Android applications • Solve difficult technical problems with a cutting-edge Android stack • Participate in code reviews and discussions on software development best practices • Communicate progress and risks to the team • Build products that customers genuinely love **What You Need** • 2-4 years of experience developing, architecting, optimizing and shipping high-performance Android applications in Kotlin • Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication & collaboration skills • Passionate about solutions while humble in the face of opposing ideas • Experience with large Android codebases and complex, high-performance apps (a plus) • Experience with Jetpack Compose (highly desirable) **Compensation & Location** • Base Pay: $120,000 - $175,000 • Hybrid role: Minimum 2 days onsite in downtown San Francisco, flexible remote work **Benefits** • Competitive compensation with bonuses and profit sharing • Equity awards (Stock Options) • Comprehensive healthcare (fully covered) including medical, dental, and vision • Flexible work and vacation schedules • 401k with matching contributions • Matching gifts to nonprofits • Lunch, transit, home workstation, ISP, and phone bill stipends **Our Culture** We promote work-life balance with flexible schedules and a collaborative, down-to-earth team environment.
