**Senior Software Engineer - Frontend - Coinbase Card Team** **About the Role** As a Frontend Software Engineer on the Coinbase Card team, you'll build user-facing experiences for Coinbase's card products, including the Coinbase One Card (credit) and Coinbase Card (debit). Join a small team consolidating both products onto a unified platform with high ownership and direct impact on millions of customers. **What You'll Do** • Own end-to-end frontend development for core card experiences (transactions, rewards, onboarding, account management) across web and mobile • Build new user-facing features such as authorized card users, reward offers, and real-time transaction status trackers • Partner with product, design, and backend engineering to scope, prioritize, and ship projects • Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks, driving measurable improvements in latency and availability **Required Skills & Experience** • 5+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in React and React Native • Proven track record shipping consumer-facing products end-to-end in high-scale environments • Experience owning SLOs and driving measurable improvements in latency and availability • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and operate as a senior technical voice • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs **Compensation** Base salary: $186,065 – $218,900 USD (varies by location) Total compensation includes equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) **Note:** Remote-first company with quarterly in-person "surge" sessions.
