**Systems Analyst III, IV or V - Digital Delivery - Design Division** **Location:** Austin, TX **Overview** Support TxDOT information technology systems and the Digital Delivery Section through computer systems analysis work. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and improve existing systems across design, construction, and asset management phases. **Level Progression** **Systems Analyst III** - Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment. **Systems Analyst IV** - Performs advanced analysis and coordinates technical initiatives with minimal supervision. **Systems Analyst V** - Performs highly advanced analysis, oversees projects, and serves as subject matter expert with extensive latitude for independent judgment. **Key Responsibilities** • Design, build, test, implement, and maintain reports and systems • Analyze user needs and translate requirements into functional specifications • Coordinate system installation, training, and business process requirements • Monitor hardware/software changes and provide technical support • Troubleshoot and diagnose systems; write technical specifications • Manage user security changes and access authorizations • Develop automated dashboards and business intelligence solutions (V level) • Serve as project leader and subject matter expert (V level) • Oversee technology evaluation and adoption of emerging platforms (V level) **Minimum Qualifications** **Education:** • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline • Relevant work experience may substitute on a year-per-year basis **Experience:** • **III:** 2 years in systems analysis or related work • **IV:** 3 years in systems analysis or related work • **V:** 4+ years in systems analysis or related work • Graduate-level education may substitute for experience **Other Requirements:** • Valid driver's license (position requires driving state vehicle)
