**Senior IT Automation Engineer** **About the Role** Own the technical architecture behind IT automations at Coinbase. Lead the IT Tooling team in building self-service workflows, bots, and integrations that power IT operations across the organization. **What You'll Do** • Own technical architecture of IT Tooling automations across n8n, Airflow, Temporal, and Jira • Lead complex automation projects end-to-end as technical DRI • Partner with Security, Corporate Engineering, and IAM teams on cross-functional initiatives • Build shared frameworks and reusable components to reduce single points of failure • Establish code review practices and engineering standards **Required Experience** • 5+ years in IT engineering, automation, or systems engineering • Deep expertise with n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira Automation, or Workato • Strong Git-based development workflows (branching, CI/CD, code review) • Working knowledge of Okta, Slack API, and Google Workspace administration • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments • Experience mentoring peers and writing technical documentation • Responsible use of generative AI tools **Compensation** $113,815 – $133,900 USD (base salary, varies by location) Includes equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) **About Coinbase** Remote-first company building the future of finance.
