**Senior Engineering Manager, Core Automation (Platform)** **About the Role** Lead the Core Automation team's mission to leverage AI-powered operations for seamless customer experiences and maximum shareholder value. You'll focus on automating compliance processes with Agentic AI while building scalable primitives and orchestration solutions. **Key Responsibilities** • Explore and apply advanced GenAI techniques, including LLMs and Agentic AI • Partner with Operations and Compliance organizations to maximize impact • Build and manage engineering teams in the Compliance domain • Design scalable systems using modern cloud technology and industry best practices • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership • Coach team members on design principles, coding standards, and AI productivity tools • Review and ensure security, scalability, and architectural integrity of designs • Hire, train, and grow high-performing teams • Lead multiple engineering efforts in parallel while maintaining quality standards • Foster a culture of high-quality code and engineering processes **Required Qualifications** • 10+ years of software engineering experience • 5+ years of engineering management experience • 2+ years of experience managing Managers • Deep understanding of high-quality code and software engineering processes • Execution-focused with ability to navigate ambiguity • Experience creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale • Hands-on capability: code review, technical documentation, on-call participation • Passion for building an open financial system **Nice to Have** • Experience deploying LLM-based applications to production • Experience measuring and improving LLM grounding and reducing hallucinations • Background in Customer Support, Compliance, or Financial Crimes domains **Compensation** $253,895 – $298,700 USD base salary (excludes equity and bonus) **Work Environment** Remote-first with quarterly in-person "surge" sessions
