## Engineering Manager, DoorDash for Business ### About the Team DoorDash for Business enables companies to feed their people through recurring team lunches, employee meal budgets, event catering, and corporate account management across all DoorDash brands and markets. ### About the Role Lead a pod of 8-10 engineers owning a business-critical charter spanning ordering systems, admin portals, identity management, budgets, policy enforcement, and financial integrations. **Location:** Seattle, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or New York Metro Area (Hybrid) ### Key Responsibilities • Own end-to-end technical direction and roadmap for your charter • Build, hire, and develop a high-performing engineering team • Support a genuinely global product serving US, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC • Drive architectural decisions and consolidation onto a unified global stack • Establish operational excellence, on-call health, and reliability standards • Partner directly with Sales, Product, Design, and Business teams on enterprise needs ### What We're Looking For • 2+ years managing engineers (hiring, performance management) + strong IC background • Shipped and operated production systems at scale • Led work across multiple teams or geographies • Set direction under ambiguity and own outcomes over output • Strong communication with non-engineering partners • Commitment to craft, testing, observability, and technical debt management ### Compensation & Benefits **Base Salary:** $193,800 – $285,000 USD (varies by location) **Benefits Include:** • Equity grants • 401(k) with employer matching • 16 weeks paid parental leave • Flexible PTO + 80 hours paid sick time annually • Medical, dental, vision coverage • 11 paid holidays • Wellness and commuter benefits • Mental health support [Learn more about DoorDash careers](https://careers.doordash.com/)
