**Senior Software Engineer - Blockchain Network** **About the Role** Join Coinbase's Blockchain Networks team within the Platform group. You'll build critical infrastructure that integrates blockchain protocols with Coinbase's internal services for new assets, stablecoins, and staking. Own multi-quarter technical initiatives and ship platform primitives that improve latency, reliability, and cost. **What You'll Do** • Design and deliver blockchain network infrastructure that abstracts complexity into reliable platform APIs • Lead multi-quarter initiatives including chain integrations, re-architecture efforts, and data migrations • Define and maintain APIs, SLOs, and observability for systems you build, including on-call ownership • Partner with product and platform teams to establish data contracts and ship SDKs • Build technical context across multiple blockchain protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) **Required Experience** • 5+ years of software engineering with demonstrated ownership of production services • Proven track record designing and scaling distributed systems for high-throughput, low-latency workloads • Hands-on experience with: Golang, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, or similar infrastructure technologies • Direct experience with blockchain protocols or crypto infrastructure (Ethereum, Bitcoin, L1/L2 networks) • Ability to decompose complex systems into well-bounded microservices with clear API contracts • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight **Compensation & Benefits** Base Salary: $186,065 – $218,900 USD (varies by location) Total compensation includes equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) **Job ID:** P77047
