**Senior Front End Software Engineer** **About the Role** Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to join our team building a next-generation global-scale networking situational awareness and command and control platform. You'll design, implement, and test user interfaces while potentially contributing to back-end development using gRPC and similar frameworks. **Location & Schedule** Arlington, VA headquarters | 4-5 days per week on-site | Light travel possible **Key Responsibilities** • Develop frontend features using modern frameworks (Vue or React) • Collaborate with users and teammates to implement features and debug issues • Work with design and program managers on responsive, modular, event-driven designs • Establish comprehensive testing strategies with the testing team • Design and develop full sections of functionality with broad requirements • Follow UI/UX designs and suggest improvements • Participate in code reviews ensuring high-quality, modular code • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies **Minimum Qualifications** • Bachelor's in Computer Science, EE, or related field + 5 years relevant experience (or equivalent without degree) • 5+ years professional front-end development with component-based frameworks • Strong Vue or React experience • Familiarity with geospatial JS libraries (Cesium or OpenLayers) • Linux software engineering tools (git, gcc, make) • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance **Nice to Have** • WebSocket or Server Sent Events experience • Tailwind CSS experience • REST API or FastAPI experience • Go and Python experience • Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, or containerization tools • Active DoD clearance (Secret or above) **Clearance** Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance **Compensation** $125,000 – $180,000 USD (annualized) Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life/disability insurance, retirement, paid leave, tuition assistance, and professional development.
