**Embedded Systems Reverse Engineer** **Overview** Join Two Six Technologies in Herndon, Virginia, where you'll conduct cutting-edge vulnerability research on complex embedded systems and wireless devices. Work alongside hardware, software, and network experts to discover security weaknesses and develop innovative proof-of-concept exploits. **What You'll Do** • Perform reverse engineering against network devices and embedded systems to identify vulnerabilities • Develop proof-of-concept exploits following DevOps best practices • Leverage modern agentic AI systems for automated vulnerability discovery and firmware analysis • Analyze firmware, software protections, and protocols for security flaws • Create and utilize custom tools for binary analysis • Collaborate with CNO developers, vulnerability researchers, and hardware engineers • Solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience • Strong C/C++ and Python development skills in Linux environments • Experience with reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Ghidra) • Familiarity with modern agentic AI systems for red-teaming and vulnerability research • Expertise in one or more: firmware analysis (ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, RTOS), QEMU emulation, fuzzing, exploit development, binary obfuscation, wireless protocols, or file system forensics • Daily on-site work in Herndon, Virginia • **Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI** **Preferred Qualifications** • AI-assisted security paradigms and automated vulnerability triage • Embedded C/C++ development for RTOS or Linux • Cryptographic security and secure boot knowledge • Hardware debugging tools (JTAG/SWD) or SDR experience • Digital signal processing or side-channel analysis • Client-facing technical experience **Compensation** Salary Range: $111,983 – $167,974 USD (annualized) Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life/disability insurance, retirement, paid leave, and professional development.
