**Director, Engineering and Technology** **About Monumental Sports & Entertainment:** Leading integrated sports and entertainment company with premier professional sports teams (Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics), world-class venues, and media properties. **Position Overview:** Lead engineering execution, enterprise technology platforms, solution architecture, and critical initiatives across infrastructure, cloud services, data platforms, automation, AI enablement, and software delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** • Lead architecture and technical design for enterprise technology initiatives • Partner with engineers to design, build, and optimize solutions • Provide senior-level support for complex incidents and production issues • Establish engineering standards for documentation, code review, and deployment • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams • Manage enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL Server, VMware) • Drive automation and technical delivery through infrastructure as code and CI/CD • Lead enterprise AI initiatives and platform enablement • Collaborate with software development teams on architecture and delivery practices • Ensure security, compliance, and resilience across technology solutions **Minimum Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field • 10+ years progressive hands-on technical experience with engineering leadership • Cloud infrastructure, virtualization, databases, and automation expertise • Experience leading complex technical projects and teams • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Cybersecurity and data protection knowledge • Experience with Azure, AWS/GCP, data pipelines, and AI platforms • Proficiency in Python, C#/.NET, TypeScript, or PowerShell • DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience **Compensation & Benefits:** 💰 $180k - $220k USD ✅ Health and welfare benefits eligible **Equal Opportunity Employer**
