About this role
**Sr. Legal Engineer** **Overview** Consilio is seeking a Senior Legal Engineer - AI Solutions & Workflows to design the next generation of AI-enabled legal services and workflows. This role sits at the intersection of legal practice, generative AI, workflow design, data, and service delivery. **Key Responsibilities** • Design AI-enabled legal workflows combining generative AI, legal data, and process design • Develop prompts, agents, workflows, and multi-step agentic processes using Claude, Harvey, and similar platforms • Work with lawyers and subject-matter experts to convert legal tasks into structured AI workflows • Design workflows that intelligently combine AI with human review and validation • Prototype solutions rapidly and test against real legal use cases • Partner with Product and Technology teams to translate requirements into capabilities • Help establish reusable workflow patterns, prompt libraries, and evaluation methods • Support client engagements and solution-design sessions • Evaluate emerging AI models and platforms for legal applications **Ideal Candidate** • Significant experience in legal services, law firms, corporate legal, legal tech, or ALSPs • Strong understanding of legal workflows (litigation, investigations, eDiscovery, legal ops, contracts) • Hands-on experience with Claude, Harvey, or comparable enterprise generative AI platforms • Experience designing sophisticated prompts, workflows, and multi-step AI processes • Understanding of agentic AI concepts (tool use, retrieval, context management, human-in-the-loop controls) • Familiarity with APIs, MCP, RAG, or enterprise data connections • Strong analytical and process-design skills • Excellent communication with lawyers, technologists, and business leaders **What Success Looks Like** Within the first year: establish validated AI workflow patterns, develop sophisticated agentic workflows, translate prototypes into scalable services, increase effective use of AI technologies, and demonstrate measurable improvements in speed, capacity, cost, or quality. **EEO Statement** Consilio is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
