**Senior Software Engineer - Partner Integrations** **About Flex** Flex is a growth-stage FinTech company headquartered in NYC, creating flexible rent payment solutions. We're transforming how renters manage their most significant recurring expense. **About the Role** Join our Partner Engineering organization to build backend systems and payment integrations platform. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver impactful products. **Minimum Qualifications** • 6+ years software engineering experience • 4+ years Java experience • Experience with robust, fault-tolerant systems and external dependencies • Data pipeline design, building, and maintenance • Proficiency: Spring (core/web/boot), Gradle, JUnit, JVM tuning • Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, Message Queues, scalable architectures • AWS (EKS, Aurora RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB) and containerization • Strong stakeholder communication and ownership mindset **Preferred Qualifications** • CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions), git, automation • Observability tools (DataDog) • Big data platforms (Snowflake) • Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform) • Mentoring experience and cross-functional collaboration **Compensation** (Market-based, varies by location) • Tier 1 (NYC/Bay Area, LA, Seattle): $172,000–$215,000 • Tier 2 (Austin, DC, Philadelphia, San Diego, Chicago, Atlanta): $154,800–$193,500 • Tier 3 (Salt Lake City, other US): $146,200–$182,750 **Benefits** • Medical, dental, vision coverage • Company equity & 401(k) match • Unlimited PTO + 13 paid holidays • Parental leave • Free Flex subscription • Relocation assistance available **Work Environment** Hybrid (2-3 days/week on-site in NYC, SF, or Salt Lake City).
