## Software Development Engineer - AI Services **Location:** Remote (not eligible in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or Virgin Islands; not considering candidates in California, Seattle, or NYC) ### About the Role Join Customer Insights Engineering to build next-generation AI-powered products. You'll develop intelligent applications, APIs, and user experiences that transform customer data into actionable insights using large language models and AI. ### What You'll Do - Build and deploy AI agents and intelligent applications - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs - Develop full-stack solutions for user-facing and backend systems - Integrate LLMs, AI services, data platforms, and external APIs - Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners - Explore emerging technologies to advance AI capabilities ### Required Experience - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience - Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages - Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services - Hands-on experience with AI/ML/LLM applications (prompt engineering, agentic workflows, AI integrations) - Cloud-native development on AWS (S3, IAM, Apache Airflow, etc.) - Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, testing, CI/CD, and full-stack development ### Nice to Have - Experience with databases, data pipelines, and distributed systems - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field **Note:** We encourage applications even if your experience doesn't perfectly match all requirements.
