Join a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on innovation and customer success. ### Responsibilities (An Average Day) - Support **operating systems**, **virtual machines**, **storage appliances**, and **backup environments** - Troubleshoot issues, assist with **change management**, apply **patches**, and perform routine system maintenance - Participate in **backup and restoration** activities; support **backup health checks** and troubleshoot failed backups (including database-related restores) - Support **cybersecurity staff** during incident response and coordinate with vendors as needed - Assist with escalated **end-user support** - Maintain **documentation** and **inventory** for assigned systems - Provide end-user and system support during core business hours with **rotational on-call** as scheduled - Use **monitoring and analytics** tools to maintain performance and identify issues - Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet **compliance and security requirements** - Follow established change management procedures for hardware/software updates - Assist with hardware troubleshooting and coordinate repairs with vendors - Help evaluate new server hardware/software needs and support deployment activities - Apply **system hardening** guidelines and maintain patch levels - Support routine maintenance and inventory records for servers, equipment, and software - Manage assigned tasks and tickets to ensure timely completion of incidents, changes, and service requests - Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and operational best practices ### Qualifications - **U.S. Citizenship required** - **2–4 years** of experience as a Systems Administrator supporting **Linux (RHEL)** and **Windows** - Experience in **multi-platform** environments and following established **SOPs**/technical guidance - Strong judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills - Understanding of **network protocols**, **cybersecurity fundamentals**, and **system performance** concepts - Experience with **system lifecycle management**, patching, and routine updates - Familiarity with automation/scripting: **Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible** - Experience supporting **cloud services** or **virtualized environments**: **VMware, Azure, AWS** - Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders - Experience creating/updating documentation for configurations and technical processes - Familiarity with **ITSM** platforms such as **ServiceNow** - Working knowledge of (examples listed): - **Operating systems:** Red Hat Linux, Windows - **VM management:** VxRail, VMware vCenter/vSphere - **On-prem servers:** HPE Cloud - **Cloud:** Azure, AWS - **Scripting:** Bash, Python *Note: The job description text appears truncated at the end of the provided content.*
